The Desi Darzi
Founded eight years ago, The Desi Darzi was born out of a deeply personal experience. Growing up, my father — often traveling for work — brought back shoes for my sister and me from every corner of the country. They were always beautiful, but rarely comfortable. Blisters and shoe bites were a part of every new pair. That discomfort stayed with me for years and sowed the first seeds of what would one day become The Desi Darzi.
Today, each pair of our juttis takes anywhere between 12 to 24 hours to make, depending on the intricacy of the design. Every pattern, stitch, and silhouette is original and unique — crafted by hand and designed in-house. Because what you wear should be as special as you are and our designs tell their own story on its own.

At the heart of The Desi Darzi are the artisans — men and women who've inherited generations of skill and soul. With every purchase, you're not just buying a shoe; you're supporting local talent, culture, and a slower, more meaningful way of creating.
Whether it's for a festive occasion, a thoughtful gift, or everyday elegance, our juttis are designed to be as beautiful as they are comfortable. We invite you to experience footwear that's rooted in heritage, built on purpose, and crafted with love.
